Motilo have done an impressive job of presenting the House of Worth as a high quality, luxurious brand with a contemporary personality via fun animation here.

The Couture brand has been relaunched with an attempt to target the younger audiences, making Couture more affordable.

Motilo have got it spot on whilst the Spring Summer 2011 collection exhibition, with the model’s poses, hair & make up, Charles Frederick Worth may have not been best pleased.

I think the idea of create a new image and bringing Couture to the masses is such a good idea, but a crucial selling point of any Couture House is the craftsmanship, heritage and quality of the beautiful pieces that are created. When someone says Couture you think skilled embroiderers with generations’ worth of experience, a sense of tradition. The dresses look amazing, I just wish that the creative direction of those SS11 shots were as strong as the looks. However, I do look forward to see what the HoW produce for forthcoming seasons and the direction they take.
